This album was great when it was released in 1979, and as I just purchased the CD, I was shocked to find out that Warner Brothers did not include the original version of “Still Waiting” on this disc. I still have the original album, and it sounds as if they included a “chopped up” single edit instead of the original. Otherwise this album, along with “Dirty Mind”, “1999”, and “Purple Rain”, are the best of Prince’s entire career.
